Björk Announces New Single “The Gate”
Due Out Digitally September 18, New Album on the Way

Björk's last album, Vulnicura, came out in 2015, but there have recently been rumblings that a new album is due out this fall, although she has yet to officially announce any details about it, beyond that it's coming soon. But today the Icelandic singer did announce that she is releasing a new single entitled "The Gate." It's due out digitally September 18 and on single-sided 12-inch vinyl on September 22 via One Little Indian. The vinyl preorder listing on One Little Indian's website included this quote from Björk about the song and her next album: "'The Gate' is essentially a love song, but I say 'love' in a more transcendent way. Vulnicura was about a very personal loss, and I think this new album is about a love that's even greater. It's about rediscovering love - but in a spiritual way, for lack of a better word." Below is Björk's tweet about "The Gate," seemingly including the single's cover art.

Bjoerk song was most awaited song for the fans of Vulnicura but finally after 2 years gap she’ll back with the bang and she has just sang her new song beautifully and the video of that song was so adorable to watch…
