Grizzly Bear have announced their new album and some tour dates. Painted Ruins is due out August 18. Below is the cover art, as well as their tour dates. The album includes the recently shared new single, "Three Rings," which is below again. Another new song is expected to debut today via Zane Lowe's Beats1 radio show today.
Painted Ruins is the follow-up to 2012's Shields, and they have long been hinting at a new album, releasing various abstract teaser trailers for it. The album title, release date, and cover art was leaked via some event listings. The cover art is a painting by Chyrum Lambert. More details will probably be announced later today or tomorrow.
