Speedy Ortiz have announced that guitarist Devin McKnight is leaving the band and have shared a previously unreleased song, “Screen Gem,” which is the last unreleased Speedy Ortiz song to feature McKnight. It was recorded two years ago. McKnight is leaving the band to front a new band called Maneka. Proceeds from track sales of “Screen Gem” will go to the criminal justice reform nonprofit CLOSERikers, as per McKnight’s wishes. Listen to it below, followed by a statement from the band’s frontwoman Sadie Dupuis.
