British dance duo Disclosure are releasing their anticipated second album, Caracal, on September 25 via Capitol Records. They are releasing a series of four interconnected videos for the album that will make up a short film. They have already shared the video for “Holding On,” the single that features the vocals of Gregory Porter. Now we have one for “Omen,” which features the vocals of Sam Smith, who’s also featured in the video.
Ryan Hope also directed the clip, as he’s doing for all four of the videos. This one takes place two weeks after the “Holding On” one and is a little more like a regular music video, with less of the dystopian future world science fiction stuff of the “Holding On” video. The press release describes the “Omen” video as such: “The plot continues to unravel as we see lead star Mariela amidst an exclusive dance party, in the militarized and futuristic state, shot in Mexico City.” Watch it below.
