Death Cab For Cutie have announced a reissue of their 2001 third studio album, The Photo Album, in honor of its 20th anniversary. The 35-track reissue will feature a remastered version of the original album, along with unreleased tracks, rarities, UK b-sides, and covers of Björk’s “All is Full of Love” and The Stone Roses’ “I Wanna Be Adored.” In addition to the announcement, the band shared a previously unreleased demo for their song “Coney Island.” The reissue will be out digitally on October 29 via Barsuk, and will be released on vinyl in spring 2022. Twenty-five years ago, updates were trickling in to the UK music press about the chronically delayed second studio album from The Stone Roses. “Baggy revival still on ice!” declared a short NME news item in early February of 1994, reporting that Second Coming (which did at least have its title) was once again being taken off Geffen Records’ release schedule, only a month before it had previously been set to come out. As promised earlier today, The Stone Roses have released their new single, “All For One,” their first new music in 22 years. It premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show and is now available to download as a digital single. It was produced by Paul Epworth and recorded at Church Studios in London.
