Gruff Rhys, frontman of Britpop outliers and survivors Super Furry Animals, has shared a new song, “I Love EU.” The Welsh musician wrote the song in support of the U.K. staying in the European Union. This summer there will be a referendum in the U.K. on whether or not they should stay in the European Union. This is Rhys’ love song to the continent.

Last night Charles Bradley stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The former James Brown impersonator has become a modern soul icon in his own right, even if it’s later in his life that he’s found success. Last night he performed “Ain’t It a Sin,” a track from his recently released third album, Changes, which is out now on Daptone and Dunham.

Garbage are releasing a brand new album, Strange Little Birds, on June 10 via the band’s own label STUNVOLUME. Now they have shared a new song from it, “Empty.” “‘Empty’ is just exactly what it says it is. A song about emptiness,” said frontwoman Shirley Manson in a press release.

Last night The Flaming Lips stopped The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to cover the late David Bowie‘s “Space Oddity.” Frontman Wayne Coyne performed part of the song on the shoulders of Chewbacca. Before their performance, Coyne shot a funny backstage video where he sang a song that went through some of his musical influences and revealed that he once hit a deer with his car and is actually in the witness protection program.
