Last night he performed “Ain’t It a Sin,” a track from his recently released third album, Changes, which is out now on Daptone and Dunham.

Watch The Flaming Lips Cover David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” On “Colbert”

Last night The Flaming Lips stopped The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to cover the late David Bowie‘s “Space Oddity.” Frontman Wayne Coyne performed part of the song on the shoulders of Chewbacca. Before their performance, Coyne shot a funny backstage video where he sang a song that went through some of his musical influences and revealed that he once hit a deer with his car and is actually in the witness protection program.

LUH, which stands for Lost Under Heaven, is the new band from ex-WU LYF frontman Ellery James Roberts and Ebony Hoorn. The duo are releasing their debut album, Spiritual Songs for Lovers to Sing, on May 6 via Mute. Now they have released the video for the previously shared single “Beneath the Concrete.” Hoorn directed the clip, which superimposes images of the duo performing the song on top of distorted cityscapes and themselves.
