Previously only available as a Record Store Day exclusive and blood-filled collector’s item, The Flaming Lips collaborative album The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends will now be released in both digital and physical CD formats on June 26. Featuring an unexpected array of special guests including Bon Iver, Ke$ha, Nick Cave, Yoko Ono, and many others, the updated release will be added with a previously unavailable track with Ghostland Observatory’s Aaron Behrens.

In addition to their world record attempt, and upcoming musical production of Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, the Lips have revealed that they are nearing completion of their next official studio album, which is expected to see the light of day sometime this fall.
