Don’t Trust the B——In Apartment 23

Hayseed June (Dreama Walker) moves to New York City from Indiana, where her parents have put all their hopes and money into her future. The job and company apartment set up for June both fall through, and she is looking for a roommate situation. She finds what seems like the perfect placement with Chloe (Krysten Ritter). Once moved in, Chloe’s real personality and agenda emerge. Chloe is out to rid NYC of “immigrants”meaning individuals from outside the city. Her method: making life incredibly difficult through extreme acts of meanness. Her helper in this mission is James Van Der Beek, brilliantly and hilariously playing an exaggerated self-obsessed version of himself. June’s first step in standing up for herself: selling all of Chloe’s belongings. From this point on, Chloe develops a grudging admiration for June and an odd couple relationship emerges. Yes, it sounds almost identical to 2 Broke Girls, but both the dialogue and its delivery are infinitely better. Plus, no one in Girls’ supporting cast comes anywhere close to the genius of Van Der Beek. Delete the “bar-rump-pump” punch lines of Girls from your DVRs and replace it with the cruel but sharp witticisms of Apartment 23. (www.abc.go.com/shows/apartment-23)

you’re a pompous asolshe.I can abide any opinion or discussion. You have simply thrown your opinion at us over and over again, and spoken as though we were demented children incapable of understanding. I even offered to agree to differ with you, as I can imagine a world where folks have different opinions and everything doesn’t end. ( Since I do not see any point in trying to convince you of my opinion, and am quite sure I will not adopt yours, let us agree to differ. )Whoever this WE is, that now sees what leftists we are, must be blind as a bat. I am hardly a leftist. I simply believe that people who love and respect each other should be allowed to marry and gender speficity is not an issue. I still believe it. Perhaps viewing the human equation that created these laws as a changable entity is sentimental’ to you. I call it The Constitution.Apparently, while I was off being a stupid leftist, SOMEBODY started the ball rolling to overturn Propostion 8, so it looks like the voters of California’ aren’t quite done yet. And if it weren’t for liberl love of freedom of speech, this very site wouldn’t exist, or worse, would not allow your commentary. Your very remarks being posted here prove that you’re wrong.I think the real issue that’s diggng at you is your own deep homosexual crisis. It’s okay, man. Hopefully, you can married soon. It’s all about the love.

Ignore the Troll Fart!!! IMO This is the most refreshingly original show for a long time… very sharp and witty, with an endearing, almost surreal quirkiness! Brilliant, More, More, More…
