On Sunday (July 21), Foo Fighters made a highly anticipated stop at Boston’s Fenway Park during the North American leg of their Everything or Nothing at All Tour. The tour was inspired by the chorus of “Nothing at All,” a song from their 11th album But Here We Are. Released last year, the project showed a more intense and vulnerable side to the Grammy-winning rock facet.

At Fenway, Foo Fighters reaffirmed their musicianship and status as one of the world’s most consummate groups. Their unwavering determination has never been at the expense of their artistry. The band performed hits from start to finish as frontman Dave Grohl declared his love for rock and roll, did acoustic renditions of popular songs (“Skin and Bones,” “Under You”) and shared that he dreams of the late Taylor Hawkins.

Grohl’s passion for making music has been inspirational for decades. In addition to firing on all cylinders Sunday, Foo Fighters brought The Hives and Amyl and the Sniffers along for the ride.
