The Limousines
Get Sharp
Dangerbird
May 11, 2011 The Limousines
Just like the title of their debut full-length, Get Sharp, The Limousines have no shortage of crisp beats and tightly-wound synthlines that would make Lady Gaga proud. Yet that synthetic sharpness leaves little room for innovation, and as they croon “Internet killed the video star,” one can’t help but wonder if it also killed this indie-electronica band. this is maybe the most poorly written review ive seen all year. is there an editor for this website? i came away with absolutely no idea of what is wrong with the cd. i always thought writing, especially criticism, needed some sort of explanation or detail or something?

It’s quite obvious just as much time was spent writing this review as was spent actually listening to the album. Impressive album. Incredibly unimpressive review.
