I Love You, Man
Studio: Paramount
Oct 05, 2009 Web Exclusive
“I’m slappin’ the bass, man!” That line from Paul Rudd alone makes I Love You, Man worth seeing. Fortunately, director and co-writer John Hamburg’s bromance is solid all the way through remains one of the better films of 2009. Rudd and Jason Segel nail their roles of two guys who live their lives without the benefit of having a best friend. Their male bonding is aided by great supporting roles filled by such familiar faces as Rashida Jones, Andy Samberg, Jon Favreau, J.K. Simmons, and Jaime Pressly. The great comedy is joined by several deleted and extended scenes, a gag reel, a making-of, and a commentary on the DVD and Blu-ray. Oh, I forgot to mention Lou Ferrigno. Yes, the Hulk is in the movie, and he’s hilarious. Incredibly so.
