Angel Olsen’s former bandmate Stewart Bronaugh and current bandmate Joshua Jaeger are Lionlimb, but the duo sounds nothing like her. Flush with creaking pianos and strings, Lionlimb instead resembles a nauseous, theatrically bleak Elliott Smith. Tape Recorder is an apt name for its unvarnished sophomore LP, which resembles a demo.
