Wet Leg brought their Moisturizer 2025 North American tour to Chicago’s Salt Shed Fairgrounds on September 10, playing along the breezy stretch of the riverfront industrial corridor. Touring in support of their sophomore album Moisturizer (Domino, July 2025), the set showed just how far the band has evolved from their self-titled debut.
Once defined by the back-and-forth between Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, the spotlight now tilts toward Teasdale, front and center with striking pink hair and a stage presence that feels closer to a rock-pop persona than the school-uniform and pastoral aesthetics of their early imagery. Chambers remains vital musically, though more tucked into the shadows of smoke, as the band reshapes its sound for bigger stages. Supporting were the excellent Mary In The Junkyard.
