All Tomorrow's Parties NY is set to take place September 3rd though the 5th at Kutsher's Country Club in Monticello New York. The third day of the event will be guest curated by filmmaker Jim Jarmusch who has handpicked favorites SUNN O))) and Hope Sandoval among others to perform. Meanwhile, September 3rd is "Don't Look Back" day, where musicians perform classic albums in full. We have the line up. Other recent additions include Tortoise, Avi Buffalo, Bardo Pond, BEAK>, Dungen, and others. More

Noise electronica mongers Fuck Buttons will be touring this November in support of their sophomore LP, Tarot Sport. This is the drone-y duo's follow-up to their debut album—2008's acclaimed Street Horrrsing. Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power recorded with the legendary DJ, producer and remixer Andrew Weatherall. Tarot Sport will be available October 20th via ATP. More

"When the band first started, we were both really excited by the concept of ‘noise’ music as a confrontational tool,” recalls Benjamin John Power, who, along with Andrew Hung, formed Bristol, England’s Fuck Buttons in 2004. “Over time, the sound has developed into something more embracing. It wasn’t a conscious decision on our part to head in this direction. It kind of happened along the way and just seemed right. We still have the same sonic sensibilities as when we first started, but we now tend to try and focus on the more positive side of things when experimenting with sound.” More
