Considering that a couple of Eerie Wanda’s members do time as touring musicians with Under the Radar favorite Jacco Gardner, it’s hardly surprising that the band excels at creating soft, rippling psychedelic textures. However, on “Volcano Lagoon,” songwriter/vocalist Marina Tadic also shows a knack for fashioning puzzling pop minimalism that has plenty in common with the likes of Young Marble Giants.
