Can’t wait to hear Tanlines’ new album, Highlights, due out in stores May 19 via True Panther? Tired of streaming music via the Internet (perhaps you’re somehow still on dial-up)? The duo has a solution. Tomorrow you can listen to Highlights the old fashioned way… via conference call? You heard that right. At 2 PM EST/11 AM PST you need to call 605-562-3140 and input the access code 874405. If you’re in another country then there’s a whole host of other country specific numbers to dial listed below.

The band announced all this via a tongue in cheek press release that read all business like. Maybe this will start a trend in lo-fi album streams. Perhaps Radiohead can stream their next album via shortwave radio and Aphex Twin can stream their next release via Morse code.

Considering this and Tanlines’ recent Netflix parody website, it’s clear the duo at least has a sense of humor.
