The Afghan Whigs Announce Tour
First Show in 13 Years at Bowery Ballroom
The last show The Afghan Whigs ever played was in New York City on Sept. 29, 1999. Bringing a bit of symmetry to their recently announced return to the stage, the band has announced that they will return to the Big Apple to play their first gig in 13 years. Taking place at The Bowery Ballroom on May 23, the show will be the start of a scheduled world tour set to take place throughout the summer including stops at Lollapalooza, ATP's I'll Be Your Mirror (London and New Jersey) and many other big name events. You can view the full list of dates below. The Afghan Whigs have also revealed that they will make their first television appearance in over a decade on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on May 22.
