Watch: Chromatics - “Dear Tommy” Video
Dear Tommy Due Out Someday
Chromatics aren't quite in My Bloody Valentine or The Avalanches territory with Dear Tommy, their follow-up to 2012's Kill For Love, but the album was announced in 2014 with an original release date of February 2015. Then band leader Johnny Jewel promised to release a new Chromatics song every week until Dear Tommy's release, but that never quite happened. Still, the band have shared various songs from the album ("Just Like You," "I Can Never Be Myself When You're Around," "In Films," and "Shadow"), and now they've just released the video for title track "Dear Tommy." Although there's still no word on when the album is actually coming out. Self-directed and self-edited by the band, the video is cinematic and atmospheric, much like the band's music, and also has some horror film imagery. Watch below.
