New LP Dream Baby Coming November 5th via Paper Bag

Later this fall, Vancouver -based indie pop outfit Gold & Youth is sharing their sophomore record, Dream Baby, their first album in 8 years. Frontman and primary songwriter Matthew Lyall wrote the band’s long-awaited follow-up to 2013’s Beyond Wilderness in his apartment over the past several years. Bandmates Louise Burns (vocals, bass), Jeff Mitchelmore (drums), and Murray McKenzie (guitar) then added their own parts virtually. More

I didn’t get to see everything I wanted to at Under the Radar’s seventh annual SXSW party. (Like any good hostess, I found myself often forgoing the entertainment to make sure no one went thirsty.) However, I was able to see a large handful of favorites (old and new) including: DIANA, Big Black Delta, Shout Out Louds, Young Dreams, Gold & Youth, Young Galaxy, Poolside, DIIV, Dan Croll, NZCA/LINES, IO Echo, and Small Black.
