Scotland’s Belle and Sebastian are releasing a new album, A Bit of Previous, on May 6 via Matador. Now they have shared its third single, “Young and Stupid,” via a lyric video featuring photos of the band as children, teenagers, and in their 20s. The band has also issued a statement from actor Jon Hamm. More

EELS (the project of Mark Oliver Everett) released a new album, Earth to Dora, last month via E Works/[PIAS]. Now they have shared an amusing video for the album’s “Are We Alright Again,” which stars Jon Hamm, who is so lost in grooving out to the song on his headphones that he doesn’t notice his house is being burgled. Lucy in the Sky is not about The Beatles, although its title is no doubt inspired by their song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.” The film is also loosely inspired by the true-life tale of astronaut Lisa Nowak, who was charged with the attempted kidnapping of U.S. Air Force Captain Colleen Shipman due to Nowak’s romantic involvement with fellow astronaut William Oefelein. Natalie Portman instead plays an astronaut named Lucy Cola and Jon Hamm plays astronaut Mark Goodwin. More
