HAIM are featured in a new video put together by the California State Lottery to help highlight that some of the funds go to education. In the video Danielle, Este, and Alana Haim return to their old high school, Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, to surprise their former history teacher, Mr. Freedman, who made a big impact on them.

Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings
Modern soul legend Sharon Jones (of Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings) has died at age 60. The singer had been battling pancreatic cancer. A statement was released this evening on the Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings Facebook page that in part read: “We are deeply saddened to announce Sharon Jones passed away today after a heroic battle against pancreatic cancer.
