Indie record label Polyvinyl has announced the release of a new podcast in celebration of its 25th anniversary. Rock artist Fred Thomas will host, and it will feature interviews with a plethora of artists who have released music via Polyvinyl, including American Football, Alvvays, Japandroids, Jeff Rosenstock, Julia Jacklin, Kero Kero Bonito, of Montreal, Laura Jane Grace, STRFKR, Xiu Xiu, and more. More

Detroit singer/songwriter/guitarist Anna Burch and Fred Thomas are both from Michigan and are previous friends and collaborators. In fact, it was Thomas who suggested to his label Polyvinyl that they sign Burch and the label released her debut solo album, Quit the Curse, back in February 2018 via the label. More

Low released a new album, Double Negative, today via Sub Pop and it’s our Album of the Week. Double Negative is the follow-up to 2015’s Ones and Sixes.
