Bat For Lashes' Two Suns only came out in April, but there's already a 2xCD/DVD Special Edition slated for a September 7th U.K. release, according to the official BFL site. We're quite smitten with our Spring issue cover artist so we welcome such a seemingly premature deluxe treatment. The Lashes site also says the U.S. and international release dates will be announced very soon.

The retooled version contains the original LP, plus eight bonus cuts that include live treatments, Natasha Khan's covers of The Cure and Kings of Leon, a couple odds-and-sodds remixes and a 48-minute behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of the amazing sophomore disc. Watch a trailer for the doc here and check out the bountiful tracklist below. The documentary was filmed at vraious locations across the globe, including the Joshua Tree desert, Big Sur, Calif., New York and the Welsh countryside. (Via Stereogum)
