Jónsi of Iceland’s Sigur Rós is releasing his first solo album in 10 years, Shiver, on October 2 via Krunk. Now he has shared another song from it, “Cannibal,” which features Elizabeth Fraser (formerly of Cocteau Twins). Jónsi co-directed the video with actor/director Giovanni Ribisi. More

Trip-hop pioneers Massive Attack released their acclaimed third album, Mezzanine, 20 years ago, in April 1998. Now they have announced an anniversary tour where they will perform the album. It will feature Liz Fraser, the former Cocteau Twins vocalist who sang on the album’s single “Teardrop” and last performed with the band in 2006. More

Rough Trade has just announced the release Elizabeth Fraser’s solo EP Moses (now available digitally). Voice of the Cocteau Twins, Fraser’s solo EP is dedicated to her dear friend and once-band mate Jake Drake-Brockman who passed away earlier this year. Moses is available now via iTunes and on vinyl January 26, 2010. More
