Rilo Kiley returned to Salt Lake City on May 25th at The Complex and Under the Radar photographer Moses Namkung was there. The group has been on a triumphant reunion tour after a lengthy 17 year hiatus. Their initial run of 2025 dates previously brought them to Utah via the Kilby Block Party. This year, their ‘Sometimes When You’re On You’re Really F**king On Tour’ offered a more limited series of dates and gave one more chance for their die-hard fans to revel in nostalgia.

The venue and crowd at The Complex was fully theirs from the first chords of the Execution of All Things. Throughout their 18-song set, the band hit upon the high points from their 4 album corpus, with the show hitting full stride late in their set with a triumphant run of “With Arms Outstretched”, “A Better Son/Daughter” and “Portions of Foxes”. Throughout the evening, Jenny Lewis, Blake Sennett and the rest of Rilo Kiley demonstrated that they haven’t missed a beat.
