The second trailer for the fourth Thor film, Thor: Love and Thunder, has debuted. This one better showcases Natalie Portman’s return as Jane Foster, who this time becomes the first female version of Thor, as well as giving fans the first real look at Christian Bale as the creepy looking villain, Gorr the God Butcher. SUMMERCAMP Due Out in 2022 via Pan European Recording/Hippocampus

Rob (touring band member of Phoenix) and Jack Lahana have announced the release of their debut album, SUMMERCAMP, which is set for release some time this year via Pan European Recording/Hippocampus. They have shared a video for the album’s lead single, “Haute Saison,” which features vocals by Gordon Tracks (aka Thomas Mars, lead singer of Phoenix) and Giorgio Poi. The video was directed by Academy Award-winning actress Natalie Portman and stars Quannah Channinghorse and D’Pharoah Woon-A-Tai. More

Lucy in the Sky is not about The Beatles, although its title is no doubt inspired by their song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.” The film is also loosely inspired by the true-life tale of astronaut Lisa Nowak, who was charged with the attempted kidnapping of U.S. Air Force Captain Colleen Shipman due to Nowak’s romantic involvement with fellow astronaut William Oefelein. Natalie Portman instead plays an astronaut named Lucy Cola and Jon Hamm plays astronaut Mark Goodwin. More

Ex Machina was one of our favorite films of 2014 and now its writer/director Alex Garland is coming back with a new film, Annihilation. It also has a sci-fi theme to it and is based on Jeff VanderMeer’s 2014 novel of the same name (Garland adapted it into a screenplay and is directing). The film stars Natalie Portman as a biologist searching for her missing husband, played by Oscar Isaac (an Ex Machina alumni, remember his great dance moves in that film?). Geoff Barrow of BEAK>and Portishead is scoring the movie, alongside Ben Salisbury. More
