Laura Marling is digitally releasing a deluxe edition of her album Short Movie, which came out back in March. It’s titled Short Movie - Director’s Cut and features full band recordings of album tracks “I Feel Your Love” and “Warrior,” as well as two songs that were previously only released on 7-inches, “David” and “Daisy.”

Vampire Weekend’s Chris Baio is set to release his debut solo album on September 18 via Glassnote. He’ll be going simply under his last name and album will be titled The Names after a Don DeLillo novel from 1982 of the same name.

Metric
Metric have released a new free app, The Pagan Portal, for IOS/Apple and Android platforms. Users of the app will be able to stream songs from the band’s forthcoming new album, Pagans in Vegas (due out September 18 via their own label MMI). Right now you can stream the previously shared Pagans in Vegas tracks “The Shade” and “Cascades,” along with the previously unreleased Pagans track “Too Bad, So Sad.” In the run up to the album’s release more tracks will be unlocked.

Outfit
British five-piece Outfit have shared a video for “Framed,” which can be found on the band’s recently released sophomore album, Slowness. Sam and Andrew of Studio Zongo directed the video, which is a striking clip presented mainly in black & white and featuring a lot of mirrored imagery and frontman Andrew P. Hunt.
