After their last album Fantasies helped them become the first artist in history to achieve a Top 20 hit on U.S. commercial radio without the backing of a traditional label, and working with filmmakers such as Edgar Wright and David Cronenberg, Metric has announced that they will be releasing their fifth, full-length studio album Synthetica on June 12.
