This week actor David Duchovny released his debut solo album, Hell or Highwater. Last night he had a show at New York’s Cutting Room venue and he brought up his ­X-Files costar Gillian Anderson for a cover of Neil Young’s “Helpless,” which was originally found on Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s 1970 album Déjà Vu.
