Sweden’s Amason have shared a new song, “Marry Me Just For Fun,” via a video for the track. They have also announced their intentions to release a double album in two parts, so essentially they are releasing two albums, with the first one due out August 16 and part two due out in spring 2020. More

Last month Sweden’s Amason shared a new song, the slow-burner “You Don’t Have to Call Me” (it was one of our Songs of the Week). Now they have shared a video for the song. The band’s own Pontus Winnberg directed the clip, which has a collage feel, mixing black & white photos of the band with colorful animation. More

Sweden’s Amason have shared a new song, the slow-burner “You Don’t Have to Call Me.” It’s the first single from their upcoming new album, which a press release says is due out this August. They have also done a P3 Session (a Norwegian radio program on NRK P3) where they perform “You Don’t Have to Call Me” and “Ålen,” with the latter song morphing into a cover of Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “All the Stars,” from the Black Panther soundtrack. More

Sweden’s Amason have covered Foreigner’s ‘80s classic “I Want to Know What Love Is” on their recent EP, California Airport Love. Now the band has shared a video for their cover. Filip Nilsson directed the clip, which is about a man’s international hunt for the Yeti. It stars Erick Lundqvist. Watch it below via Pitchfork, who premiered it. More

Sweden’s Amason have shared a new remix of their song “Went to War.” The original song can be found on the band’s debut album, Sky City, which came out back in January on Fairfax Recordings/INGRID. The remix was done by Sotomayor, the electronic music duo consisting of Mexican siblings Raul and Paulina Sotomayor. More
